On my page “Lens Young Tali,” I shared photographic impressions of places that had shaped me in 2011 till 2013, especially from the surroundings of Al-Tal in Syria. Using my first smartphone, I tried to capture landscapes, streets, and quiet moments of everyday life in natural light. Most of these photographs were taken during the early years of the war in Syria and the beginning of the revolution against the dictatorial regime. The page became a small personal archive where I preserved memories of a place and a time that was rapidly changing.
